A 19-year-old man was shot to death in Coconut Creek Tuesday night, authorities said.
The homicide in the Coco Parc condominium community happened at 5:44 PM, leaving one person dead, according to Coconut Creek Police.
The teen’s name was not made public by police, but friends of the victim identified him in online memorial posts as Bryce McFadden.
His killing led police to urge residents in the area to stay indoors for more than two hours Tuesday night.
Police said no arrests had been made as of Wednesday. They did not make additional details of the crime public.
Police on Wednesday asked anyone living in Coco Parc to share any video they possess that shows footage from between 5:30 and 6 p.m. “that captures any suspicious activity.”
