The Women’s Club of Coconut Creek is accepting applications for its 2026 scholarship program and educational grants, continuing a decades-long tradition of supporting local students and teachers.
The deadline to apply is March 13, 2026.
Since 1981, the civic organization has awarded more than $350,000 in scholarships and grants to Coconut Creek residents and educators, helping students pursue higher education and supporting classroom innovation in local schools.
Student Scholarships
This year, the club will award the following scholarships to graduating high school seniors who reside in Coconut Creek:
- Two $2,500 general scholarships for students planning to attend a college, university or accredited postsecondary institution.
- One $2,500 Fire Rescue Scholarship, offered in partnership with the Coconut Creek Benevolent Association, for a student pursuing a career as a firefighter, emergency medical technician, or paramedic.
Applicants are evaluated based on academic achievement, community service, leadership, and an essay submission. Students may attend any high school, but must live within the city limits of Coconut Creek.
Teacher Grants
In addition to student awards, the club will present four $500 educational grants to Broward County Public Schools teachers working at schools located in Coconut Creek. Grants will be awarded to one elementary school teacher, one middle school teacher, one high school teacher, and one additional educator at any grade level.
The grants are intended to support innovative classroom projects, instructional materials, and programs that enhance student learning.
How to Apply
Applications and eligibility requirements are available on the Women’s Club of Coconut Creek website. Completed applications must be submitted by March 13 to be considered.
Scholarship recipients and grant winners will be recognized later this spring.
