The City of Coconut Creek has announced the 2024-25 Creek Club, an after-school recreational program designed specifically for middle school students.
The Creek Club aims to provide participants with structured activities, ensuring a balanced mix of fun and education, along with a light snack and a drink each day.
Open to students in grades 6 through 8, the Creek Club will operate Monday through Friday throughout the 2024-25 school year.
The sessions will begin on Monday, August 12, and will be held only on school days. The program will run from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with hours adjusted on Broward County Schools’ early release days.
Importantly, the Creek Club will not be available when Broward County Schools are closed to students. Each 20-school-day session is priced at $70 for Coconut Creek residents and $90 for non-residents.
Fees may be prorated for those who join mid-session. Existing participants who pay after a session begins will incur a late fee of $5, making the cost $75 for residents and $95 for non-residents. Payments are accepted via credit card only.
The program will be held at the Recreation Complex located at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. Registration is ongoing until the program reaches its capacity of 30 participants per session. Interested parties can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.
If they need assistance with setting up their WebTrac account, they can contact the Recreation Complex at 954-956-1580.
