Coconut Creek’s youngest cyclists will soon have the chance to test their skills on a specially designed course as the city presents its Peewee Bike Club. Open to children ages 3 to 5, this engaging program will provide a fun and challenging way to build confidence and coordination on two wheels.
The club will run on Thursdays from April 3 through April 24, offering a 45-minute session from 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Each session will occur at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard, on the Lyons Creek Middle School track.
Participants must bring their own bikes and protective gear, ensuring that safety remains a top priority. Additionally, one parent per child must participate, and both the parent and child must wear sneakers.
The cost for the program is $45 for Coconut Creek residents and $55 for non-residents, with payment accepted by credit card only. Spaces are limited to just 12 participants, and registration is open until all spots are filled. Those interested can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or sign up in person at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.
A WebTrac account is required for online registration, and assistance with setting up an account is available by calling the Recreation Complex at 954-956-1580.
For more details, visit CoconutCreek.net/Parks and secure a spot before the program reaches capacity.
