The City of Coconut Creek is gearing up to introduce its youngest residents to the game of baseball with a new Pee Wee Baseball program designed for children ages 3 to 5.
The hour-long sessions, which run on Mondays from August 4 through August 25, will take place from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. at the Coconut Creek Community Center, located at 1100 Lyons Road. The program focuses on developing foundational baseball skills through fun activities, drills, and exercises, emphasizing teamwork, coordination, and movement.
Parental involvement is a key part of the experience—each child must be accompanied by one parent, and both participants are required to wear sneakers. All young athletes will receive a shirt, a medal, and a certificate of participation at the conclusion of the program.
The cost is $45 for Coconut Creek residents and $55 for non-residents, with credit card payment only. Space is limited to 12 participants, and registration will remain open until the program is full.
Families can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Community Center or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. A WebTrac account is required for online registration. For help setting up an account, residents can contact the Community Center at 954-545-6670.
