
Coconut Creek Recreational Complex {Aiden Palmer}
Coconut Creek has announced its upcoming youth theater program featuring Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland Jr.”.
This engaging and educational program, running from September 12 through December 7, offers children aged 8 to 14 a unique opportunity to learn various aspects of theater production.
Participants will delve into character breakdown, direction, vocal projection, and set and prop-building essentials.
The program will be held on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. No classes take place on October 2, October 12, November 27, November 28, and November 30.
Auditions are set for Thursday, September 12, at 6:30 p.m. The participation fee is $200 for Coconut Creek residents and $235 for non-residents, payable by credit card only. This fee includes scripts and performance materials; however, participants must provide their own costumes and props.
Space is limited to 25 participants, and registration will remain open until all spots are filled.
Classes take place at the Recreation Complex, located at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. Interested participants can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac, the Recreation Complex, or the Community Center at 1100 Lyons Road.
