The City of Coconut Creek is inviting residents and non-residents to get active this winter with Creek Ultimate Frisbee, an outdoor pickup program designed for adults looking to have fun, stay competitive, and get exercise.
The program is open to participants ages 18 and older and will be held on Tuesdays from Jan. 6 through Feb. 10, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Games will take place at George S. Gerber Memorial Park, located at 4715 NW 30th St.
The cost to participate is $25 for Coconut Creek residents and $30 for non-residents. A daily drop-in option is also available for $5 per day for residents and $10 per day for non-residents. Daily fees must be paid in advance at either the Community Center or the Recreation Complex before arrival. Credit card payments only are accepted.
To qualify for the resident rate, participants must present a state-issued driver’s license or a valid passport for identification, along with proof of Coconut Creek residency. Acceptable documents include a valid voter registration card or a water, cable, or electric bill dated within the past two months.
Registration is open until the program reaches capacity, which is 20 participants per day. Interested participants may register online at CoconutCreek.gov/WebTrac or in person at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road, or the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Blvd. A WebTrac account is required for online registration.
For help setting up a WebTrac account, contact the Community Center at 954-545-6670.
