Families are invited to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary during a free community event at The Promenade at Coconut Creek on Thursday, July 2.
Picnic at The Promenade will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the north parking garage beneath the mural and will feature live music, children’s activities, food and an outdoor showing of patriotic and summertime-themed video clips.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and purchase dinner, snacks or beverages from one of The Promenade’s restaurants or eateries before enjoying the evening’s festivities. Visitors can also shop throughout the center and take advantage of special offers from participating retailers.
Admission is free, although organizers encourage attendees to register in advance.
