A mutual physical altercation occurred between two friends at Evergreen Lakes on Wiles Road on May 6. Misdemeanor battery charges were filed.
Found property was reported on May 6 at locations including 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway and 4715 NW 30th Street.
Property damage occurred at 1000 Coconut Creek Blvd on May 6. The incident and photos were submitted for review.
A juvenile was involved in a simple battery incident on May 6.
A vehicle fire was reported at Applewood Village on May 6.
A child neglect case was reported at Planet Fitness on Coconut Creek Parkway the evening of May 6. The child was returned to a guardian.
A background investigation was conducted at 4800 W Copans Road on May 7.
A woman was reportedly battered at a residence on Winston Park Blvd North around 1 a.m. on May 7.
A person was taken under the Baker Act at Applewood on May 7.
Retail theft totaling $549 was reported at Home Depot on May 7. The suspect was released with a notice to appear and a trespass warning.
A child abuse case was opened for investigation on May 7.
Several reports of police assistance, found property, fraud, disturbances, and lost or stolen items were recorded throughout the week, including:
Alleged road rage incident reported as aggravated assault on Johnson Road.
A theft of $2,479 involving a stolen check at Carambola Circle North.
Impersonation and fraudulent loan application using the victim’s information on Hillsboro Blvd.
Juvenile disturbances at multiple schools.
A bicycle was stolen from a home’s curtilage after an unlocked vehicle was accessed on NW 11th Street.
A man exposed himself at the Broward College North Regional Library on May 10.
A robbery involving a firearm was reported at Bell Apartments on Hillsboro Blvd on May 10. The victim suffered a $2,500 loss.
Two vehicles were broken into and items stolen from Sol Press Blvd on May 11.
Arrests:
Victoria Ellen Danchak, 31, was arrested for touch or strike battery related to a dating violence incident.
Brandon E. Benedetto, 34, was arrested for petit theft (third subsequent offense).
Jonathan Maldonado, 32, was arrested for petit theft involving property valued between $100 and $750.
Caron James Jackson, 32, was arrested for petit theft.
Randy Scott Schwartz, 49, was arrested for possession of fentanyl.
Jonathan J. Blomquist, 38, was arrested for disorderly intoxication.
Ashley Octavia Mack, 22, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Krystal Imari Wilson, 39, was arrested for petit theft (first offense).
George Edward Hall, 48, was arrested for petit theft.
Edwin Jose Tejadaavila, 25, was arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked license (third or subsequent offense).
