Coconut Creek Police responded to various calls from September 15 to September 21, 2026. Below is a detailed account of the incidents local law enforcement handled during this period.

Incidents

Attempted Homicide

A shooting at Waterview Apartments on West Hillsboro Boulevard was reported Sept. 21 between 2:30 and 2:49 p.m. Police classified the incident as attempted homicide.

Burglary

Two suspects were apprehended by police K9 Arlo following a burglary at Bru’s Room, 5460 W. Hillsboro Blvd., on Sept. 15 at 2:16 a.m.

A residential burglary on Northwest 68th Court in Deerfield Lakes occurred between Aug. 26 and Sept. 19 and was reported Sept. 20. The estimated loss was $3.

Aggravated Assault and Battery

An aggravated battery involving domestic violence on Sawgrass Boulevard occurred between Sept. 15 and Sept. 16 and was reported Sept. 16.

A person was threatened with a knife by an unknown man at Burlington on Coconut Creek Parkway on Sept. 20 at 12:12 a.m.

A battery involving a person 65 or older was reported on Northwest 69th Court in Deerfield Lakes Mobile Home Park on Sept. 21 at 9:07 p.m.

Battery

A domestic battery was reported on Northwest 34th Avenue in Centura Parc on Sept. 15.

A domestic battery was reported on Northwest 22nd Street in Baywood Village II on Sept. 15. An arrest was made.

A domestic battery was reported at Talking Taco on North State Road 7 on Sept. 17. An arrest was made.

A domestic battery was reported on Northwest 64th Court in Tallowwood on Sept. 17. An arrest was made.

A domestic battery was reported on Lucaya Lane in Wynmoor on Sept. 17. An arrest was made.

A domestic battery was reported on Lyons Road in Riviera Palms on Sept. 18. An arrest was made.

A domestic battery was reported on Northwest Sixth Court in South Creek on Sept. 19. Police noted conflicting accounts.

A domestic battery was reported on Coral Tree Circle in Olivine on Sept. 20. An arrest was made.

Theft

Two iPhones valued at a total of $2,600 were reported stolen from AT&T, 6970 N. State Road 7, on Sept. 15.

A theft from a residence on Crescent Creek Court in Julia Gardens occurred between Sept. 11 and Sept. 16. The estimated loss was $4,500.

A shoplifting incident at Publix, 4760 W. Hillsboro Blvd., occurred Sept. 15 and was reported Sept. 16. The estimated loss was $550.

A separate shoplifting incident at the same Publix occurred Aug. 24 and was reported Sept. 16. The estimated loss was $510.

A shoplifting incident at Publix, 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway, was reported Sept. 19. The estimated loss was $85.

A shoplifting incident at Home Depot, 4550 N. State Road 7, was reported Sept. 21. The estimated loss was $1,416.

Vehicle Theft

A vehicle was reported stolen from Cypress Shores on Lyons Road between 9:30 p.m. Sept. 19 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 20.

Fraud

A prepaid gift card scam involving an incident on Lucaya Lane between Sept. 16 and Sept. 18 was reported Sept. 18.

Fraudulent use of an EBT card was reported at Walmart on West Hillsboro Boulevard on Sept. 19.

Criminal Mischief

A vehicle on Sunshine Drive was damaged between 11 p.m. Sept. 17 and 8 a.m. Sept. 18. The suspects were unknown.

Criminal mischief and trespassing at CubeSmart on West Sample Road occurred between Sept. 16 and Sept. 17 and were reported Sept. 21.

Harassment

Harassing phone calls and text messages were reported at Casa Palma on North State Road 7. The incidents occurred between Sept. 10 and Sept. 17.

Narcotics

A parking violation investigation on Lyons Road on Sept. 19 involved a warrant and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana. An arrest was made.

Elderly Abuse and Neglect Investigations

Police assisted with an Adult Protective Services investigation on Northwest 47th Avenue in Winston Park on Sept. 15. No crime was reported.

Police assisted the Department of Children and Families with an elderly abuse or neglect investigation at Bell Apartments on West Hillsboro Boulevard on Sept. 15.

An elderly self-neglect incident was reported on Ginger Avenue in Tamarind Village on Sept. 16.

An elderly abuse or neglect incident was reported on Acacia Circle in Sawgrass Village I on Sept. 16.

Domestic Disturbances

A verbal domestic disturbance was reported on Northwest 55th Boulevard in Coconut Palm Club on Sept. 16.

A verbal domestic disturbance was reported on Northwest 55th Drive in Coral Pointe on Sept. 18.

An argument between two adults was reported on Sunshine Drive on Sept. 21.

Suspicious Incidents

Police received a Crime Stoppers tip concerning a social media post warning students not to attend school Monday. The incident involving Lyons Creek Middle School, 4333 Sol Press Blvd., was reported Sept. 15.

A suspicious incident was reported at Coconut Creek High School, 1400 NW 44th Ave., on Sept. 18.

A suspicious incident on Northwest 40th Lane in Parkwood V occurred between Sept. 19 and Sept. 20 and was reported Sept. 20.

A suspicious incident was reported on Northwest 37th Avenue in Tallowwood on Sept. 21.

Property Damage and Fire

Property damage was reported on Northwest 43rd Terrace on Sept. 15.

Property damage was reported on Hilton Road on Sept. 17.

Storm-related property damage was reported on Northwest 45th Avenue on Sept. 18.

A fire involving multiple vehicles was reported on Bimini Lane in Wynmoor on Sept. 20.

Property damage on State Road 814 occurred Sept. 20 and was reported Sept. 21.

Lost or Stolen Property

A package lost Aug. 28 on Pebblestone Court in Country Lakes was reported Sept. 15.

A ring was reported lost or stolen at Publix, 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway, between Sept. 16 and Sept. 17.

Trespassing

A person received a one-year trespass warning after creating a disturbance at the library, 1000 Coconut Creek Blvd., on Sept. 18.

Animal Complaint

A cat was reported left unattended inside a vehicle on Northwest 49th Lane in Victoria Isles on Sept. 18.

City Ordinance Violations

Police investigated an ordinance violation involving water hoses running from Red Stone Ranch to Tradewinds Park on West Sample Road on Sept. 19.

An ordinance violation involving water being pumped across the street was reported at Vinkemulder Road and Northwest 39th Avenue on Sept. 20.

Other Incidents

A missing student from North Lauderdale was located at Coconut Creek High School, 1400 NW 44th Ave., on Sept. 15.

Police assisted with a student transport at Dave Thomas Education Center, 4690 Coconut Creek Parkway, on Sept. 15.

Police assisted another agency on Cocoplum Circle in Elliot South on Sept. 15.

A Baker Act incident was reported on Northwest 49th Avenue in Buttonwood Hammocks on Sept. 15.

Police handled a misdemeanor warrant matter on South Carambola Circle on Sept. 16.

A traffic incident was reported at Lyons Road and Winston Park Boulevard on Sept. 17.

Police assisted another agency on North State Road 7 on Sept. 17.

A traffic stop at West Hillsboro Boulevard and Lyons Road resulted in a warrant arrest on Sept. 18.

Police provided a courtesy ride from the Wynmoor south gate on Wynmoor Drive on Sept. 19.

A Baker Act incident was reported on Northwest 48th Avenue in Victoria Isles on Sept. 19.

A verbal altercation between two juveniles was reported at Off The Wall, 4939 Coconut Creek Parkway, on Sept. 20.

Police assisted the Broward Sheriff’s Office at Monarch Station on West Sample Road on Sept. 20.

Arrests

Beau Dunbar Gordon, 26, was arrested Sept. 15 at 5460 W. Hillsboro Blvd. on a charge of burglary of a dwelling or structure causing more than $1,000 in damage.

Elijah Franklin Cox, 21, was arrested Sept. 15 at 5460 W. Hillsboro Blvd. on a charge of burglary of a dwelling or structure causing more than $1,000 in damage.

Bruce J. Allen, 54, was arrested Sept. 15 on Northwest 22nd Street on a charge of battery.

Loren Jill Wolf, 62, was arrested Sept. 16 on South Carambola Circle on a charge of trespassing by failing to leave the property.

Andre Pershell Gillespie, 40, was arrested Sept. 17 at 6970 N. State Road 7 on a charge of domestic battery.

Ryan Leigh Faye, 44, was arrested Sept. 17 on Northwest 64th Court on a charge of domestic battery.

Amanda Brill, 31, was arrested Sept. 17 on Lucaya Lane on a charge of domestic battery.

Kendrick Desean Wallace, 33, was arrested Sept. 18 at 4849 Coconut Creek Parkway on a charge of second-degree petit theft, third or subsequent offense.

Henrique Achilleschagas, 32, was arrested Sept. 19 on Lyons Road on a charge of domestic battery.

Bounnda Jeffry Phillippeaux, 22, was arrested Sept. 19 at 5365 Lyons Road on a misdemeanor charge listed as possession of 20 grams or less of cannabis or 3 grams or less of synthetic cannabinoids.

Romero Goberto Esilva, 51, was arrested Sept. 20 on Coral Tree Circle on a charge of domestic battery.

Isabel Yanette Garcia, 47, was arrested Sept. 21 on Northwest 69th Court on a charge of battery on a person 65 or older.
