Coconut Creek Police responded to various calls from February 10 to 16, 2026. Below is a detailed account of the incidents handled by local law enforcement during this period.
Property Crimes & Thefts
Stolen Motorcycle: A motorcycle was reported stolen from Coco Parc, 711 Lyons Road, between Feb. 9 and Feb. 10.
Auto Theft: A white 2021 Honda Accord was stolen from The Landings, 4990 Lighthouse Circle, on Feb. 10.
Theft From Storage Unit: Items valued at approximately $9,600 were stolen from a storage unit at Extra Space Storage, 4161 State Road 810. No suspects were identified.
Residential Burglary: A delayed residential burglary was reported in Centura Parc on Feb. 13. Estimated loss: $8,550.
Burglary With Assault: A domestic-related burglary with assault was reported at Monarch Station, 4941 W. Sample Road. Estimated loss: $1,500. The suspect was gone on arrival.
Vehicle Burglaries: Three vehicles were burglarized at Lyons Business Park on Feb. 15. Reported losses totaled more than $10,000 combined.
Theft From Vehicle: $75 in cash was reported stolen from a vehicle at Legacy, 4105 W. Atlantic Blvd.
Criminal Mischief – Business: Damage was reported at Stretch Zone, 6580 N. State Road 7, in Coral Creek Shops.
Criminal Mischief – Vehicle: A vehicle window was reported broken overnight at 5450 Lyons Road.
Lost/Stolen Firearm: A missing firearm was reported at Coral Pointe.
Fraud & Financial Crimes
Elderly Exploitation: A 79-year-old victim in Paloma Lakes reported exploitation totaling approximately $111,000. Adult Protective Services is involved.
Fraud – Impersonation:
A victim at Hilton Estates reported impersonation fraud.
A Citibank customer reported $30,235 lost in an impersonation scheme.
Disturbances & Domestic Incidents
Domestic Battery: A domestic battery was reported at Ashton Parc. An arrest was made and the suspect was transported to BSO Main Jail.
Battery Incidents:
A battery was reported at Silver Spot; the suspect received a notice to appear and was released on scene.
A battery was reported at Winston Park.
A battery at Key Foods Supermarket resulted in an arrest for domestic battery and a misdemeanor capias.

Juvenile & School-Related Incidents
Threat at School: A kindergarten student at Coconut Creek K-8 Academy of Excellence made a threat toward other students.
Juvenile Disturbances: Reported at Winston Park Elementary on two separate occasions.
Missing Juveniles:
A 17-year-old female runaway was located near her ex-boyfriend’s residence.
A habitual runaway juvenile male was located in Hialeah.
Traffic & DUI
DUI Arrest: A driver was arrested for DUI (second offense) and possession of an open container at W. Atlantic Boulevard and Lyons Road.
Fleeing and Eluding:
A dirt bike fled from a traffic stop at Wiles and Lyons roads.
A white Audi SUV fled a traffic stop at Sample Road and Lyons Road.
A black BMW fled from a traffic stop at 3600 W. Sample Road.
Other Notable Incidents
Natural Death: An unattended natural death was reported at a residence on Coco Lake Drive.
Animal Bite: A dog bite with injuries was reported at Wynmoor, 2301 Lucaya Lane.
Narcotics Investigations: Traffic stops at Lyons Road and Walmart on Hillsboro Boulevard led to drug-related investigations.

Samuel Cardozoknupp, 18: Arrested Feb. 10 on a charge of domestic battery.
Jack George Najarian, 70: Arrested Feb. 10 on a charge of false imprisonment.
Fernando Jose Montilla, 78: Arrested Feb. 10 on a charge of battery.
Jason C. Babcock, 40: Arrested Feb. 11 on a charge of domestic battery.
Benjamin Harrison, 56: Arrested Feb. 12 on a charge of domestic battery.
Ronald Derrick Burns, 52: Arrested Feb. 14 for DUI (second offense).
Joseph Nicholas Fedor, 50: Arrested Feb. 15 for possession of cocaine.
Rachel Allison Vonhagen, 50: Arrested Feb. 15 for possession of fentanyl.
Johnny Batista, 19: Arrested Feb. 15 for burglary of an unoccupied conveyance.
Mayeli Tacoronteperrote, 18: Arrested Feb. 15 on burglary of conveyance charges (two counts).
