UPDATE AUGUST 29: The City of Coconut Creek has advised that this event has been canceled.
Are you ready for some fantasy football?
Fantasy football enthusiasts of all ages are invited to participate in the 2024 NFL Fantasy Football League, hosted by the City of Coconut Creek.
To join the league, participants must download the free CBS Sports Fantasy Football app.
Each week, teams will have the opportunity to finalize their rosters and compete against other teams. The league is open to all ages, but at least one team member must be 18 or older.
The league starts with a live in-person draft on Thursday, September 5, at 7:00 p.m., at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments while selecting their players for the season.
After the draft, all league activities will be conducted virtually. So, there is no need to worry; trades will not require a clandestine in-person handshake at Sabal Pines Park.
The entry fee is $40 per team for Coconut Creek residents and $50 for non-residents. Payments are accepted via credit card only. Space is limited to 12 teams, so early registration is encouraged.
Registration is open now and will continue until the league’s draft on September 5 or until all spots are filled. Teams can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac, Community Center, or Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
For additional details, contact the Community Center at (954) 545-6670 or visit CoconutCreek.net.
