Pickleball Courts at Coconut Creek.
Coconut Creek offers teens a chance to get active and learn a fast-growing sport with its upcoming Teen Pickleball Clinic.
The program, designed to introduce young players to the game while improving their skills, will take place outdoors at the Community Center courts, located at 1100 Lyons Road.
The clinic welcomes participants of all skill levels, from beginners to those with prior experience. Players will be grouped according to age and ability to ensure a fun and engaging learning environment. The sessions will teach foundational skills, game rules, and strategies while encouraging physical activity and friendly competition.
Open to teens ages 14 to 17, the clinic runs on Thursdays from April 24 through May 15, with classes held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for Coconut Creek residents and $20 for non-residents, with credit card payments required. Participants must bring their own pickleball paddles.
Registration is currently open and will continue until all 20 spots are filled. Those interested can sign up online at CoconutCreek.net/Webtrac or register in person at the Community Center or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. A WebTrac account is required for online registration, and assistance is available by calling the Community Center at 954-545-6670.
