The City of Coconut Creek announces a hands-on sculpting program for children to explore their creative potential.
The new class, “Molding Masterpieces,” offers young artists an opportunity to learn and practice the fundamentals of sculpting through various techniques and materials.
Participants will work with air-dry clay, paper mache, and paint to craft their own unique creations.
Open to children aged 7 to 11, the program will be held at the Coconut Creek Community Center, located at 1100 Lyons Road. Classes are scheduled for Tuesday evenings from January 28 through February 18, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
All necessary supplies and materials will be provided, ensuring participants can dive into the creative process. The cost is $50 for Coconut Creek residents and $70 for non-residents, with only payment accepted by credit card.
With limited space available—only 10 participants—the city encourages early registration. Registration is open until the class reaches capacity and can be completed online via WebTrac at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac. Walk-in registrations are also welcome at the Community Center or the 4455 Sol Press Boulevard Recreation Complex.
