The City of Coconut Creek is set to host an Indoor Glow-in-the-Dark Pickleball Tournament for women, combining the fast-paced game with an electrifying glow-in-the-dark twist.
Held on Tuesday, January 7, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Community Center gymnasium at 1100 Lyons Road; all participants are asked to arrive by 5:45 p.m.
Open to women aged 18 and older, the event is tailored for intermediate to advanced players. The tournament features a round-robin format with rotating partners, allowing each competitor to play at least four games. Each game will be played to 11 points with a win-by-one differential.
Following the round-robin, a single-elimination format will determine the champion. Players are required to bring their own paddles, while the court, equipment, and accessories will all glow under blacklight for an unforgettable experience.
Registration is $15 per player, and credit card payments are required. Space is limited to 14 participants, so early registration is encouraged. Registration is ongoing through January 6, 2024, or until the tournament is full. Same-day registration will not be accepted.
Interested participants can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or the Community Center or Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. An active WebTrac account is necessary for online registration.
