Coconut Creek calls all basketball enthusiasts aged 30 and older to lace up their sneakers for the Men’s 30+ Basketball Winter League.
This program offers a chance for participants to stay active, engage in friendly competition, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow players.
The league takes place at the Recreation Complex, located at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard, every Monday night from January 6 through April 21. Game times are scheduled for 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m. However, there will be no games on January 20, February 17, and March 10.
Teams interested in joining must register in advance, as space is limited to six teams. Each team can have a minimum of five players and a maximum of ten. The registration fee is $500 per team, payable by credit card only. Full payment is required at the time of registration.
Participating teams are responsible for providing their own matching, numbered shirts. Team names and shirt colors will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration is now open and will continue until all spots are filled. Prospective players can register online through the city’s WebTrac system or in person at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center, located at 1100 Lyons Road. A WebTrac account is required for online registration. For assistance setting up an account, residents can contact the Recreation Complex at 954-956-1580.
