Pickleball Courts at Coconut Creek.
The City of Coconut Creek invites adults to stay active, social, and cool this summer with “Pickleball and Popsicles,” a new outdoor pickleball program launching in June.
Open to players 18 and older, the program runs Monday evenings from June 16 through July 21, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the outdoor courts at the Community Center, located at 1100 Lyons Road.
All skill levels are welcome; participants will be grouped by age and ability. The format will follow a rotational partner round-robin style, with at least three games per night for each player. Participants must bring their own paddles, and weekly refreshments—yes, including popsicles—will be provided.
The cost is $25 for Coconut Creek residents and $35 for non-residents, payable by credit card only. Space is limited to just 24 players, and registration is open until all spots are filled.
Residents can register online at CoconutCreek.net/Webtrac or in person at the Community Center or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. A WebTrac account is required to register online. For help creating an account, call 954-545-6670.
