An 86-year-old Coconut Creek woman died Sunday from injuries she suffered in a single-vehicle car crash in Deerfield Beach, authorities said.
Eva Florian was driving a black 2014 Honda Accord through a parking lot in the 3700 block of West Hillsboro Boulevard on April 24 around 4:30 p.m. when she lost control of the car and crashed into the support post of a concrete building, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
BSO deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded, and paramedics rushed Florian to an area hospital for treatment.
On Sunday, detectives with BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit received information that Florian died due to injuries she suffered in the crash, according to BSO.
Detectives are investigating the crash.
