Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Parkland through May 25.
Animal Bite
7600 block of Old Thyme Ct – Parkland Golf and County Club
On May 19, BSO responded about a delayed report of a dog on dog animal bite.
Abandoned Vehicle
15800 Loxahatchee Rd
On May 19, an abandoned 2005 black colored Jeep Liberty was found abandoned with heavy damage along the back wall of the BG Katz nursery on an unimproved alley roadway. The vehicle was registered to an address in Brandon, FL, and was not reported as missing or stolen. The vehicle was removed by Westway towing to their tow lot pending location of the owner.
Domestic Battery
9600 block of Ginger Ct – Parkland Golf and Country Club
On May 23, BSO responded and made contact with a couple about a possible Domestic Battery. During their investigation, they received conflicting statements from both parties, and no arrest was made.
Domestic Disturbance
6800 block of Long Leaf Dr – Parkland Golf and Country Club
On May 22, BSO responded to a delayed domestic disturbance verbal in nature that occurred between the complaint and her husband.

8600 block of Watercrest Cir – Watercrest
On May 20, a report reference concerning phone calls to the victim’s Fort Lauderdale office.
6400 block of Nw 58th Ter – Sable Pass
On May 20, BSO observed a white female lying down on her back by the front door unconscious and unresponsive but breathing. They administered Narcan to the subject, and she was able to regain her consciousness.
5901 W. Hillsboro Blvd – BJ’s Wholesale
On May 21, the victim advised that someone wrote the words “Brain Shot” on the hood of her car, with a finger. No damage to the vehicle. Prints were attempted, but unsuccessful. The victim believes that it may be her ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend.
5900 block of Nw 75th Ct – Lakes at Parkland
On May 22, information report completed, reference dispute between resident and community association board members over the use of community pool. (Pool is currently closed).
8800 block of NW 72nd St
On May 22, a report was made over a verbal dispute over Parkland residents hanging around in front of other resident’s homes.
6000 block of Nw 60th Ct. – Country Place
On May 22, Information report reference unknown w/m speeding around neighborhood riding a dirt bike.
10555 Trails End – Pine Trails Park
On May 23, BSO responded to a delayed incident report of a broken mirror in the men’s bathroom.
Property Damage
10300 block of Sweet Bay Ct – Parkland Golf and Country Club
On May 24, reporting person advised that an unknown person driving a red and white golf cart struck their mailbox causing damage. The unknown subject then drove into bushes at the second residence but caused no damage.
Shooting
15490 Loxahatchee Rd,
On May 22, Deputies responded to multiple calls of shots fired in the area of Loxahatchee Rd near the boat ramps. Deputies made contact with four suspects and were detained without incident. Two of the four suspects had firearms. Story on Parkland Talk.
