Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through November 20.
Theft
Home Depot was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on N State Road 7 on 11/17/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,012. A 21 YOA employee was arrested for stealing $1,215 in merchandise. The subject confessed to stealing $13,000-$14,000 in total merchandise going back to April 2023.
A 31-year-old female was the victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Sunrise Estates on NW 63 Drive on 11/17/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,652.
Kohls was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on N State Road 7 on 11/17/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,115.A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto at Lake Windermere on 11/14/2023. The total estimated loss was $820.
Walmart was the victim of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting on W Hillsboro Blvd on 11/18/2023. The total estimated loss was $612. 2 females were arrested for shoplifting at Walmart with several minor children present, and DCF was notified.

A victim of Theft – From a Motor Vehicle at Lake Saint Croix on 11/17/2023. The total estimated loss was $315.
Electronic Harassment
An 18-year-old male was the victim of Electronic Harassment on Wiles Road on 11/14/2023. A Written electronic threat – Verbal altercation on the roadway which led to an Instagram threat message.
A 45-year-old female was the victim of Electronic Harassment at the CCPD Lobby by a known suspect on 11/19/2023.
Fraud
A 58-year-old female was the victim of Fraud – Other at CitiBank on NW 52 Street on 11/15/2023. The total estimated loss was $7,000.
Child Abuse
A victim of Child Abuse – Police Assist-Other Agency at Applewood Village III on Carambola Circle N on 11/15/2023.
Property Damage
A 54-year-old male was the Property Damage – Vehicle Fire victim on Lyons Road on 11/16/2023.
Burglary
A 40-year-old male was the victim of Burglary – Residence at Casa Palma on 11/19/2023. The total estimated loss was $10,750.
Arrests
Julien, Steven, Lucson, 23, was arrested on a Resisting Officer W/O Violence charge at 5501 Lyons Road on 11/14/2023.
Davis, Keanna, Rochell, 33, was arrested on a charge of Interfere W/Custody at 2305 NW 37 Avenue on 11/16/2023.
Troutman, Portia, Rae’shell, 30, was arrested on a Fraudulent Use of Personal Identification charge at 5440 Lyons Road on 11/17/2023.
Silas, Tiara, Ashley, 27, was arrested on a charge of Theft – Retail/Shoplifting at 6950 N State Road 7 on 11/17/2023.
Blocker, Chanterria, Ann, 33, was arrested on a charge of Grand Theft>$750<$5000 at 6950 N State Road 7 on 11/17/2023.
Petitfrere, Janjan, 29, was arrested on a charge of Touch or Strike/Battery/Dating Violence at 5630 NW 61 Street on 11/17/2023.
Frank, Jared, 19, was arrested on a charge of Intimidation-Write Send Threat To Kill at 5050 Wiles Road on 11/19/2023.
