Through our joint effort with the Coconut Creek Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Coconut Creek’s crime and arrests through February 20.
Theft – All Other
A victim of Theft – All Other – Theft of a trailer was reported on 02/19/2023. The Total Estimated Loss was $10,000.
Theft – From Building
A 34-year-old male was the victim of Theft – From a Building at 4731 W Sample Road, 02/15/2023. The total estimated loss was $5,000. Power tools were taken from a Cube Smart storage unit.
Theft – From Motor Vehicle
A 27-year-old male was the victim of Theft – From Motor Vehicle at the Promenade on Lyons Road was reported on 02/16/2023. The Total Estimated Loss was $5,525.
A 28-year-old male was the victim of Theft – From Motor Vehicle at Tradewinds Parks on W Sample Road. The theft was reported on 02/17/2023. The Total Estimated Loss was $2,400.
Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories
A 63-year-old female was the victim of Theft – Auto Parts/Accessories. The theft of a catalytic converter was reported was 02/17/2023. The Total Estimated Loss was $1,500.
Fraud – Use Of Credit Card
I&I Diamonds was the victim of Fraud – Use Of Credit Card at 6564 N State Road 7. The theft was reported on 02/15/2023. The Total Estimated Loss was $1,460.
Aggravated Battery
A 21-year-old female was the victim of Aggravated Battery. It was reported on 02/15/2023. A 20-year-old male was arrested for Domestic Aggravated battery, and a 21-year-old female was for Domestic Assault with a deadly weapon and Battery.
Police Information
Police Information at 4958 Pelican Manor in Regency Lakes was reported on 02/15/2023. The Total Estimated Loss was $4,200. The victim reported her credit card was used without her permission.
Battery – Simple Touch/Strike
An 18-year-old female was the victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike Domestic Violence at Banyan Bay on W Atlantic Blvd was reported on 02/15/2023.
Traffic Engineering
Traffic Engineering was the victim of Theft – All Other at 4599 W Atlantic Blvd/Lyons Road. A stolen streetlight wire was reported on 02/16/2023. The Total Estimated Loss was $15,000.
Civil Complaint
Civil Complaint at 1400 NW 44 Avenue was reported on 02/16/2023. The Total Estimated Loss was $1,089.
Battery – Simple
A 27-year-old female was the victim of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike – Domestic Battery at Carrington Apartments was reported on 02/17/2023.
Arrests
Rodriguezperez, Randy, 45, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 3rd Offense Within 10 Years at 4811 Lyons Technology Parkway on 02/14/2023.
Forehand, David Edward, 68, was arrested on a charge of Dui W/Damage To Property Or Person Of Another at 200 Lyons Road on 02/14/2023.
Gonzales, Mario A., 31, was arrested on a charge of Aggravated Assault On Officer, Firefighter, Emt at 6174 Sample Road on 02/15/2023.
Pamplona, Miguel, 28, was arrested on a charge of Assault On Officer, Firefighter, Emt at 6174 Sample Road on 02/15/2023.
Costaferreira, Ivo Cesar, 54, was arrested on a charge of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 1 ST Offense at 4200 W Copans Road on 02/15/2023.
Rosecampbell, Kaya Lataya, 34, was arrested on a charge of Battery – Simple Touch/Strike at 4201 W Atlantic Blvd, on 02/15/2023.
Stpris, Nadege, 36, was arrested on a charge of Driving While License Susp Third Or Subsq Offense at 4800 Atlantic Blvd, on 02/17/2023.
Dosantos, Diogo Valdevino, 33, was arrested on a charge of Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence on 02/18/2023.
