Coconut Creek residents and non-residents are invited to participate in a Valentine’s Day-themed social for adults with special needs.
The event will take place on Monday, February 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Community Center, located at 1100 Lyons Road.
Participants must meet certain criteria to attend, including independent bathroom skills, following basic instructions, and participating in a group structure. Participants who cannot meet these criteria must provide their own assistant for supervision.
The social is open to adults aged 18 and older.
Activities such as crafts, games, prizes, music, and refreshments will be provided. The cost for Coconut Creek residents is $10, and $15 for non-residents. Payment must be made by credit card, and no cash or checks are currently being accepted.
Registration is ongoing until February 10 or until the event is full. Residents can register online at www.CoconutCreek.net/Webtrac or by walk-in at the Community Center or the Recreation Complex, located at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
