A Parkland resident was killed during an afternoon robbery at a store he was working in North Lauderdale.
Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of store clerk Ayub Ali, 61, of Parkland who was robbed and shot after a suspect entered Aunt Molly’s Food Store at 1691 S. State Road 7 at 12:42 p.m. on Tuesday.
BSO deputies from Lauderdale Lakes and Tamarac Fire Rescue responded to the scene, then the fire department transported Ali to Broward Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Ali lived in the Meadow Run community with his wife Farhana. He was originally from Bangladesh.
