The first year is often the most challenging for new businesses. Rule G Brewing Company has passed the six-month mark, prompting co-owners Ralph Rapa and Lisa Henrie to celebrate.
Over the weekend, Rule G celebrated its six-month anniversary in Coconut Creek. There was live music, NFL football games, and the introduction of a new blueberry IPA beer.
According to Rapa, all the beer Rule G offers is brewed in-house. The goal is to create a friendly, local craft brew restaurant where people can come and enjoy a brew, a sandwich, and some fellowship.
“We have regulars and groups of friends who come here to socialize,” said Rapa.
Rapa, a former railroad operator, entrepreneur, and locomotive engineer, said football fans can request any NFL football game be played. Rule G is planning an Oktoberfest celebration.
The atmosphere at Rule G is casual and friendly. Rapa and Henrie enjoyed chatting with customers.

“We decided to locate here because there was a need in this area for a craft brew restaurant,” he said.
Rule G is located in Coconut Creek at Westcreek Plaza, 4800 W. Hillsboro Boulevard. It is closed on Mondays and open on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Wednesdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
