After Living Outside in a Cramped Cage, Sheena Needs a Life Indoors with a Forever Family

Sometimes the community works together to make magic and miracles happen.

Sheena is hoping this is one of those times because at ten-years-old she finds herself at the Broward County shelter, puzzled, scared, and wondering when her new family might arrive.

Confiscated from her owners after a Good Samaritan alerted authorities to her situation, Sheena is a larger girl who was kept outside and crammed into a small cage, where she was horribly cramped.

Sheena remained outside in the searing sun and the pouring rain. Thankfully she was removed from the home, but now she needs a new one. — one where she will be living indoors, showered with love and enriched with toys, walks, and laughter.

She a healthy girl who is calm and well-mannered around other dogs. She likes other dogs and is very playful. Sheena would do great in any home and needs an adopter or a foster home, as she has an interest in an excellent rescue if a foster can be found for her.
