Coconut Creek’s Homegrown Concert Series is returning in January with an evening of live music.
The next installment of the city’s concert series will be held Friday, Jan. 5, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The featured musical act is Bombshell, a South Florida-based band performing a wide selection of rock, pop, and dance music from the 1970s to today, according to the city.
The show will take place at the city’s Community Center band shell at 1100 Lyons Rd. Admission to the event is free.
According to the city’s website, Bombshell is a “close-knit, dynamic 4-piece cover band injects their distinctive flair into an extensive repertoire … [featuring] songs you adore but rarely hear from other bands, offering a refreshing playlist that includes everything from Prince to Bruno Mars, Journey to Maroon 5, Lady Gaga to Peter Frampton.”
Blankets, chairs, and coolers are allowed at the concert. Pets are not permitted.
In case of inclement weather, check the city’s social media pages or call 954-545-6600 for up-to-date information.
