Police Assist – Other Agency: A Creek resident was reported suicidal and later located in Deerfield on Aug. 26.
Vehicle Burglary: A vehicle burglary was reported Aug. 26 at NW 49th Ave.
Juvenile Disturbance: A Lyons Creek Middle School 7th grader made concerning comments about guns on Aug. 26.
Property Damage: Damage was reported at 5400 Lyons Rd. on Aug. 26.
Battery: A simple battery occurred at Publix, 4849 Coconut Creek Pkwy., on Aug. 26.
Injured Person: Officers responded to an injury at 5400 Lyons Rd. on Aug. 26.
Domestic Disturbance: Police responded to a disturbance on NW 51st St. on Aug. 26.
DUI Arrest: A traffic stop at 4000 W. Sample Rd. Resulted in a DUI arrest on Aug. 26.
Probation Violation/Missing Juvenile: A juvenile runaway and probation violation were reported Aug. 26 at Cocoplum Cir.
Baker Act: A subject was taken under the Baker Act at 1711 Hammock Blvd. on Aug. 26.
Business Burglary: A burglary occurred at Orion Gas Station, 3900 Coconut Creek Pkwy., on Aug. 27.
Bicycle Theft: A Publix customer reported a stolen bike on Aug. 27 at 4760 W. Hillsboro Blvd.
Forgery: A $40 forgery was reported at McDonald’s, 4200 W. Sample Rd., on Aug. 27.
Baker Acts: Multiple Baker Acts were reported during the week, including juveniles at South Creek, Coconut Creek High, Applewood II, and Centura Parc.
Motorcycle Theft: A motorcycle was stolen from Coco Parc Apartments on Aug. 28.
Wire/Computer Fraud: Two separate fraud complaints were reported Aug. 28, including one at Banyan Trails Dr. and another at State Road 7.
Simple Battery: A man reported being battered on Aug. 28. Another battery occurred Aug. 30 at Centura Park, and a domestic-related simple battery was reported Aug. 31 at Casa Palma.
Fleeing and Eluding: A suspect fled law enforcement at 4200 W. Sample Rd. on Aug. 28.
Death – Natural: A death was reported at Regency Lakes on Aug. 29.
Retail Thefts: Shoplifting was reported at Walmart, 5571 W. Hillsboro Blvd., on Aug. 29 ($41 loss), and Publix, 4849 Coconut Creek Pkwy., on Aug. 31 ($328 loss).
Vehicle Theft: Infiniti of Coconut Creek reported a stolen QX80 SUV, possibly taken two weeks prior, on Aug. 29.
Petit Theft: An electric scooter was stolen from Publix, 4760 W. Hillsboro Blvd., on Aug. 29 ($180 loss).
Criminal Mischief: Graffiti damage was reported at Sabal Pines Park on Aug. 29. Another incident involved a damaged vehicle at Grand Cypress on Aug. 31.
Domestic Disturbances: Multiple verbal disputes were reported throughout the week at locations including Elliot South, Coconut Palm Club, and Olivine.
Arrests
William Paul Gault, 55: Arrested Aug. 26 at 4000 W. Sample Rd. for driving with a suspended license (third or subsequent offense).
Adil Jeffali, 43: Arrested Aug. 26 at 4000 W. Sample Rd. for driving while intoxicated.
Nicholas Cordell Estifil, 21: Arrested Aug. 27 at Orion Gas Station for burglary of an unoccupied structure.
Tyler Waymon Richardson, 37: Arrested Aug. 29 at Baywood Village II for battery dating violence.
