The Monarch High School Army JROTC program continues to achieve success.

On Saturday, October 10, the Monarch Knights JROTC mixed and female teams competed in the second Raider meet of the season at Everglades High School.

The mixed team earned second place in the 5K run, second place in the cross-country rescue event, and third place in the tire flip. The Knights placed second overall among mixed teams, according to Senior Army Instructor John Acevedo.

“This was our female team’s first event after only practicing together for two weeks. They did a great job for their first time. I am so proud of these young warriors,” said Acevedo.
