Attention all parents interested in reassigning their children to other schools. Broward County Public Schools has announced the opening of the School Choice application window for the 2024/25 school year.

Commencing on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 8 a.m., The period extends until February 2, 2024, allowing families to explore various educational options.

The School Choice program enables families to apply for magnet programs, Nova schools, and reassignments. This flexibility allows parents and guardians to select schools that align closely with their children's interests and academic needs rather than being confined to their assigned schools.

BCPS encourages parents and guardians to visit browardschools.com/schoolchoice to facilitate an informed decision-making process. This online resource offers detailed information categorized by student interest, grade level, and individual school names. The School Choice application will be accessible online starting December 1, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for applicants.

Recognizing the importance of support and guidance in navigating these options, the Office of School Choice is available for assistance. Parents and guardians can reach out by calling 754-321-2480 or emailing schoolchoice@browardschools.com for more information.
