Coconut Creek Community Center {Coconut Creek}
The City of Coconut Creek is gearing up for another exciting season of youth volleyball with the launch of its 2025 Youth Volleyball League. Open to both girls and boys, the league offers a co-ed experience and is designed for players ages 9 to 17, based on their age as of August 31, 2025.
Divisions are broken down by age and grade level, with 10U for players in 3rd and 4th grade, 12U for 5th and 6th grade, 14U for 7th and 8th grade, and 17U for high school students. Each team will compete in ten regular-season games, followed by playoffs and a championship matchup. All participants will receive a league jersey.
Player evaluations are scheduled during the weeks of May 26 and June 2, with division-specific dates and times shared upon registration. Practices will begin the week of June 9, and the season officially kicks off with games starting July 8. The 10U and 12U divisions will play on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while the 14U and 17U teams will take to the court on Thursdays and Saturdays. Coaches will determine individual team practice schedules, which will be communicated once rosters are finalized.
The league will take place at the Community Center, located at 1100 Lyons Road. Registration costs $120 for Coconut Creek residents and $170 for non-residents, with credit card payment required. To qualify for resident pricing, individuals must provide a state-issued driver’s license or valid passport, along with a recent voter registration card, utility bill, lease agreement, or other acceptable proof of residency dated within two months of submission.
Registration is open from March 1 through April 30 or until the league reaches capacity. Interested participants can sign up online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at either the Community Center or the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. A WebTrac account is required for online registration, and staff are available to help create one by calling 954-545-6670 or emailing CreekSportsVBall@coconutcreek.net.
To confirm a player’s age and legal guardianship, parents or guardians may be asked to provide a copy of the participant’s birth certificate at either walk-in registration location.
Volunteer coaches are needed for all divisions. Those interested must complete an application and undergo background screening and fingerprinting. To apply, contact CreekSportsVBall@coconutcreek.net.
