The Monarch High School girls’ volleyball team recorded its second straight win following a dominant performance against Coconut Creek High School on Thursday.
The Knights won the match in three sets and improved to 2-3 after previously beating J.P. Taravella in five sets earlier this week. They are scheduled to play games this week against Blanche Ely and Western High School. The Tigers are 2-3 this year while the Wildcats are 3-6, but beat Monarch in last year’s matchup.
Coconut Creek fell to1-1 after they beat Blanche Ely High School in their first matchup. They would then begin this week with a loss against J.P. Taravella and will play Piper High School on Thursday, September 11, at 4:30 p.m. The Bengals are 4-5 this year and won in four sets a season ago.
