The Monarch High School JROTC team performed well at the Raiders Competition held on Saturday, September 19, at Western High School.

The Knights mixed team earned third place in the tire flip, second place in the cross-country rescue, and second place in the fitness challenge, which involves completing an obstacle course, according to JROTC instructor John Acevedo.

“Everyone on the team did well even though they only had about two weeks to train,” said Acevedo.

The Monarch Raiders team is now preparing for an upcoming competition on October 10 at Everglades High School.
