Coconut Creek Youth Soccer {City of Coconut Creek}
This league promises competitive games, skill-building opportunities, and a community-centric atmosphere.
The league is open to both boys and girls and offers essential gear such as jerseys, shorts, and socks. Each division will participate in 10 regular-season games, with playoffs and championship games for all except the 7U Co-Ed division, which will play without goalies to emphasize fundamental skills.
Age Divisions and Structure
The league is divided into specific age groups:
- 7U Co-ed Instructional for ages 6 to 7
- 9U Boys and Girls for ages 8 to 9
- 11U Boys and Girls for ages 10 to 11
- 13U Boys for ages 12 to 13
- 15U Boys for ages 14 to 15
- 17U Boys for ages 16 to 17
- 14U Girls for ages 12 to 14
- 17U Girls for ages 15 to 17
Player evaluations, drafts, and clinics will be conducted in September. Practices will start in October, and games will kick off in November. The season will culminate in playoffs and championships during the first week of February.
Registration and Fees
Registration for the league is open from July 1st through August 31 or until divisions are full. The participation fee is $120 for Coconut Creek residents and $170 for non-residents, payable by credit card only. Residency verification requires a state-issued driver’s license or valid passport and a recent voter registration card, water bill, cable bill, or electric bill.
Locations and Logistics
Practices and games will be held at Sabal Pines Park (5005 NW 39th Avenue) and George S. Gerber Memorial Park (4715 NW 30th Street).
Coaches will determine practice schedules and communicate them after teams are formed. Game days are subject to change based on enrollment, weather, and field availability. Any games rescheduled due to weather will depend on field availability.
Volunteer Coaches Needed
The league is seeking volunteer coaches. Interested individuals can contact the Recreation Complex at 954-956-1580 or email CreekSportsSoccer@coconutcreek.net.
All volunteers must complete an application and undergo a background screening with fingerprinting. The availability of volunteer coaches could affect the maximum capacity of divisions, potentially leading to early registration closure or redistribution of division ages.
How to Register
Participants can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Recreation Complex (4455 Sol Press Boulevard) or the Community Center (1100 Lyons Road).
Online registration requires a WebTrac account. The Recreation Complex can assist with setting up an account.
