Coconut Creek had a terrific winter season and produced several All-County Selections.
In soccer, Ruddy Augusto was named to the First Team All-County after scoring nine goals and recording three assists for Monarch. Alexander Jimenez also made it, posting seven shutouts and a school record in saves with 154. The Knights reached Regionals for the third straight season, with Attila Kovacs, Gabe Lana, Steve Moodie, and Marco Tuesta being Honorable Mentions. Christian Llinas Cantillo was tabbed to the First Team from North Broward Prep after scoring four goals and five assists in 16 games as a defender. Goaltender Zach Brown was picked to the second team along with Christian Llinas Cantillo, Jamal Osman, Alejandro Ramirez, and Cameron Riddle, who were named Honorable Mentions
The North Broward Prep girls also had their goaltender, Zoie Brown, picked to the First Team after she set a school record with 15 shutouts and a goals-against average of .264.
Sumayah Brown was named to the second team, with Lila Brown, Ivory Edgecomb, Eduarda Kroschinsky, Kaiden O’Neill, Jayda Palumbo, and Anabelle Strati all being honorable mentions for a team that won 16 games. Camila Decarvalho, Camila Fajardo, and Kearstin Iadarola were all honorable mentions from Monarch.
In basketball, University of Jacksonville signee Enrico Borio made the First Team for North Broward Prep. The Eagles reached the State Final-Four, and Borio averaged 15 points, 8 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block. with Casey Wohlleb named as Coach of the Year.
Alexa Schwartz of North Broward Prep was named to the First Team after averaging 17.3 points, six rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 4.7 steals per game. Ana Abelleira and Makena Longo were Honorable Mentions, while Abigail Theophile and Devonique Thompson represented Coconut Creek as Honorable Mentions.
