Celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr at the tribute event at Pine Trails Park Amphitheater.
Held on Monday, January 17, from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., the event includes food trucks, inspirational local performances, music, and guest speakers honoring Black History Month.
The winners of the Dr. Martin Luther King Day Celebration Essay and Poetry Contest will read their poems and essays from the stage. Open to middle-school-age children who live in Parkland or attend local schools, the contest focused on Dr. King’s dream for America.
The Pine Trails Park Amphitheater is located at 10561 Trails End.
