To help foster environmental consciousness among its youngest citizens, the City of Coconut Creek announces “Little Green Thumbs,” a special one-day event designed for children and their parents to engage in Earth Day-themed crafts and projects.
Held on Friday, April 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., this event aims to plant the seeds of environmental stewardship in the hearts of children ages 3 to 7.
The session costs $25 for Coconut Creek residents, while non-residents will have to pay $35. There will only be 15 available slots. It promises to offer a variety of engaging activities, such as crafting with recycled materials, and educate attendees about the significance of conservation and biodiversity.
Held at the Community Center located at 1100 Lyons Road. Interested families can secure their spot either by visiting the Community Center, the Recreation Complex at 4455 Sol Press Boulevard, or by registering online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac.
