Chill Vibes and Seafood Delights: The Fish Joint's a Hotspot for Summer Nights — {The Fish Joint}

Nothing is better on a hot summer night than a cold shrimp ceviche paired with a hearty salmon salad or a delicious Lobster Roll.

The Fish Joint in Coconut Creek is a place to be for a relaxed lunch or dinner.

The creative chefs at the popular seafood fast-casual restaurant ensured that the locals have something great to look forward to any day of the week, all summer long, with delectable daily specials.

Owner Brian Rifkin said Mondays are for Mahi Sandwiches, followed by a Taco Tuesday and Fish N’ Chips Wednesday. On Thursdays, the restaurant serves the local favorite, Lobster Roll, served hot or cold with a choice of side. Friday nights are for Fried Shrimp Platters, and Saturday is a perfect occasion to indulge in a pound of Snow Crab in signature garlic butter sauce.

All daily specials are priced under $20.

“We also have a Summer Salmon Salad that proved very popular with the local diners,” said Rifkin. Grilled salmon is served on top of mixed greens with red onion, baby tomatoes, cucumber, and fresh corn, tossed in a citrus-balsamic dressing.

Rifkin added that The Fish Joint offers a healthy alternative to fast food and traditional casual dining. “Our menu features a lot of fresh, healthy, and light options that are full of flavor.”

Family-owned, The Fish Joint opened in Coconut Creek in 2020. It quickly became a local’s go-to for fresh seafood, setting itself apart from the traditional restaurants that serve shellfish and fish as a more affordable option. In 2022, Rifkin opened a Coral Springs location.

He said diners love that they can get any fish cooked how they want: grilled, blackened, jerked, or fried.

The guests keep returning for the Crab and Shrimp Boils and Ahi Tuna Nachos, Rifkin said; however, the main draw is the relaxed atmosphere of both restaurants, friendly staff, and excellent quality food at reasonable prices.
