The Monarch and Coconut Creek High School soccer teams had terrific winter seasons, highlighted by Ruddy Augusto’s selection to the First Team All-Conference.
The senior helped the Knights win a District Championship and a Regional win against Marjory Stoneman Douglas. Monarch beat MSD three times, while Augusto had six goals and two assists, including a hat-trick against Coral Springs High School.
Yuri De Franca and Alexander Jimenez were Honorable Mentions from the soccer team. Cody Dinnall, AJ Hairston, and Jaynae Gilbert were picked as Honorable Mentions from the boys and girls basketball teams. Abigail Theophile was the lone Honorable Mention from the Coconut Creek High School girls basketball team.
