Buffalo Bills linebacker Greg Rousseau returned to his hometown in Coconut Creek to deliver an inspiring speech to students sitting in the same seats at Monarch High School he once occupied while dreaming of playing in the NFL.
As part of his foundation’s efforts to give back, Rousseau spoke to the Monarch High School football team, answered questions and handed out cleats to players.
Rousseau spent two years at Monarch before graduating from Champagnat Catholic High School and continuing his football career at the University of Miami, where he earned Freshman All-American honors.
The Buffalo Bills selected him 30th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, and he is now in his sixth season with the team.
Rousseau has recorded at least four sacks in each NFL season and already has six through the first six games this year. He has also forced 10 fumbles throughout his career, including three this season, helping Buffalo get off to a 5-1 start.
