While Coconut Creek High School gets set for the start of the 2023 football season, they had the chance to play in the National High School 7×7 Showcase.
In the tournament, the Cougars sent 4-0 to take first place following wins against J.P. Taravella, Blanche Ely, Dillard, and Monarch High School. Coconut Creek also outscored their opponents 111-70 in their games, including a 26-14 win over the Knights in the Final.
The Cougars will now focus on the high school football season, which is set to begin on August 25 against Boyd H Anderson. Coconut Creek won six games a season ago and already has several players committed to playing college football.
