Safety Night with Coconut Creek Police
The Coconut Creek Police and Fire Rescue Departments will host a family-friendly Safety Night to entertain and inform the community about public safety.
The event takes place on Thursday, August 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the City Hall Courtyard. It will include various activities and demonstrations highlighting the essential roles of the police and fire rescue teams.
Attendees can participate in bike helmet fittings, explore emergency vehicles and equipment, and enjoy K-9 demonstrations that will showcase the skills and abilities of police dogs in action.
Kids will also have a chance to meet K9 Taylor, the school safety dog, who plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of local students.
Public Safety Meet and Greet will allow residents to interact with the law enforcement professionals who keep their community safe, and a Crime Scene van will be on display so that the community can get a glimpse into the investigative techniques used by local law enforcement.
