A man was allegedly drunk when he caused a two-car crash that injured a mother and her children in Coconut Creek, police said Friday.
Angelo Carrubba, 35, or Deerfield Beach, was charged with DUI, DUI property damage, and drunk driving that caused a crash with injuries after he drove into a vehicle carrying the mother and kids at the intersection of Lyons Road and West Hillsboro Boulevard, according to Coconut Creek Police.
The three injured patients were treated and released from a local hospital, police said.
Carrubba was booked into the Broward Main Jail. Bond information was not immediately available on Friday.
