Police are searching for two female thieves caught on surveillance video stealing perfume from Sephora in Coconut Creek.
Footage showed the women slipping at least six perfume boxes under their long skirts—at least three boxes per woman—before they calmly walked out of the store in the 4400 block of Lyons Road, in the Promenade at Coconut Creek shops, according to police. There was also a male working with the female shoplifters, both of whom wore face masks, police said.
The women were seen on video opening perfume boxes to check their contents before stealing them.
“They knew what they were doing,” said Coconut Creek Police spokesman Scotty Leamon. “They knew what they were looking for.”
The thefts happened last month, and police responded to the store on November 20. No arrests have been made since Thursday.
Anyone with information is asked to call Coconut Creek Police at 954-973-6700 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
