The City of Coconut Creek is set to bring holiday cheer to neighborhoods across the community when the annual Polaris Express Holiday Caravan rolls out Friday, Dec. 12.
The festive caravan, led by city officials riding in Polaris vehicles and joined by fire and police trucks, will begin at 6:15 p.m. and make five designated stops where residents can gather to wave hello and enjoy the holiday sights. Hard stops are scheduled at Hosford Park, George Gerber Memorial Park, Sabal Pines Park, the Hilton Road Greenway at Alexandria Boulevard, and the Winston Park Nature Center.
After completing its neighborhood route, the caravan is expected to arrive at the Coconut Creek Recreation Complex between 9:15 and 9:30 p.m. Families can enjoy holiday music, snacks, and photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus during the event’s finale.
Residents are encouraged to participate by wearing holiday pajamas, a nod to the classic “Polar Express” theme. Those unable to attend in person can follow along through a live broadcast on the city’s Facebook page.
