The City of Coconut Creek is now accepting registrations for its 2026 Boys Basketball League, offering boys ages 8 to 11 the opportunity to stay active, compete, and have fun in a structured league environment.
The league includes 10 regular-season games, playoffs, and a championship, with jerseys and shorts provided. Players must be age-eligible as of Aug. 31, 2026. Divisions include 9U (ages 8–9, second and third grade) and 11U (ages 10–11, fourth and fifth grade).
Player evaluations for both divisions will be held Saturday, Jan. 3, at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road, with 9U evaluations at 10 a.m. and 11U at 1 p.m. Practices will begin the week of Jan. 5, with schedules determined by volunteer coaches. Games will start the week of Jan. 28, with 9U games on Thursday and Saturday evenings, and 11U games on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. Championship games and awards for both divisions are scheduled for March 28.
The registration fee is $130 for Coconut Creek residents and $180 for non-residents. Credit card payment is required. Proof of residency and identification are needed to qualify for the resident rate.
Volunteer coaches are needed. Interested residents must complete an application and background screening with fingerprinting. Incentives are available, including a $50 discount for head coaches and $25 for assistant coaches, applied at the end of the season if eligibility requirements are met.
Registration is open from Nov. 1 through Dec. 31 or until divisions are full. Residents can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Community Center or Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Blvd.
