North Broward Prep’s Varsity Dance Team was officially crowned Dance Team Union National Champions in the Small Varsity Division.
The NBP JV team also had an incredible year and was also named Dance Team Union National Champions. They finished second in the nation in JV Hip Hop and fourth in JV Pom after outstanding performances in Dostirxts and Regionals.
The varsity and JV teams won the State Championships and the third overall sweepstakes award. Varsity took first place in hip-hop, contemporary, and Pom, while the JV team came first in Hip Hop and Pom and then third in Jazz.
The Middle School Team also did tremendous this year, placing first in the State Championship in Pom, second in Jazz, and third in hip hop.
