The City of Coconut Creek is launching a Special Needs Bowling League, designed for adults.
This league offers an inclusive, supportive environment where participants can enjoy bowling, regardless of their experience level.
The program is open to individuals aged 18 and older, and participants will be provided with a league shirt. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, participants must be able to use the bathroom independently, follow basic instructions, and participate in a group structure.
A caregiver or supervisor must be provided for individuals who require additional assistance.
The league will run from January 13 through March 17, with bowling sessions held every Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at AMF Margate Lanes, at 2020 N State Road 7, Margate, FL 33063.
Please note that no bowling will be held on January 20 and February 17. Participants are asked to arrive by 4:45 p.m. for check-in.
The registration fee is $100 for Coconut Creek residents and $120 for non-residents. Only credit card payments will be accepted. Due to limited space, registration is capped at 30 participants, and spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration will remain open until the league is full. To register, participants can visit CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or complete the process in person at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road, or the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard.
