The City of Coconut Creek is inviting residents to get active and competitive in a fun new way with its upcoming Co-Ed Adult Kickball League.
Open to participants 18 and older, the league will take place Thursday evenings from September 4 through November 6 at George S. Gerber Memorial Park, located at 4715 NW 30th Street. Each team will play eight regular-season games, followed by playoffs and a championship game. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs in a single-elimination format. Champions will walk away with a team trophy and prizes.
Games will be scheduled at 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., or 8:30 p.m. Any rescheduled games due to rainouts will be based on field availability.
Team registration is $350 and must be paid in full by credit card at the time of registration. Each team may have up to 15 players and must include a minimum of three female players. Teams must have at least eight players, including three women, present on game day to avoid forfeiting. Participants are also required to provide their own team jerseys, and team color selection will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration is ongoing until all six team slots are filled. Those interested can register online at CoconutCreek.net/WebTrac or in person at the Community Center, 1100 Lyons Road, or at the Recreation Complex, 4455 Sol Press Boulevard. A WebTrac account is required for online registration. For help setting up an account, call the Community Center at 954-545-6670.
