
Ralph Diaz drops back to pass for North Broward Prep. {Matt Rothman}
The North Broward Prep football team picked up its first win of the season on Thursday night, defeating Pembroke Pines Charter 28-20.
Ralph Diaz did it all for the Eagles, throwing a pair of touchdown passes to Christian Deering and Vincent Jackson. Diaz also ran for two scores as he finished the game with 220 passing yards and 112 yards on the ground.
NBP snapped a three-game losing streak to start the season and will have a week off before facing Saint Andrew’s School on Friday, September 18 at 6 p.m. The Scots are 2-1 this season and will play Palmer Trinity and Lakeland High School before their matchup with NBP. These teams met last season, with Saint Andrew’s earning a 30-9 victory.
