The Coconut Creek High School boys and girls basketball teams held Senior night on Monday before their games against J.P. Taravella.
The girls team recorded a 64-29 win over the Trojans to improve to 5-4 this year. Frantasia Jaques, Devonique Thompson, Abigail Theopile, Jayleen Flores, and Naomi Headley were all recognized. The girls team lost their next game on Tuesday, 60-42, against Santaluces High School.
The boyss team will honor their seniors later this year, but they lost 70-39 against JPT and have just one win in their 14 games this year. That victory came against Hollywood Hills High School in their first game.
Next, both teams will play their net game on January 22 against Deerfield Beach High School. The boys team is 8-6 this year, while the girls are 9-5.
